Need an RX. So silly. I will go see my doc, give them $200 for a useless visit so they can write me a prescription so I can order a machine. UGH!
Nope. If you go through Lofta, you fill out and sign some documents that assert your claim. Submit them (when asked, make sure to check to have your Rx emailed to you rather than applied to a Lofta purchase), and then you schedule a telehealth visit. My "visit" consisted of saying my name and DOB, that was it. Took 2 minutes.

Though I have insurance with a co-pay, I paid for this out of my own pocket, in order to try to get my insurance DME allowance against a much more spendy travel mini CPAP. The Airsense 10 will be a great daily (nightly?) driver, but I'm sick of going bicycle touring and devoting one whole pannier to this lunky size.

I also used a Chase card with quarterly 5% for PayPal this quarter to further reduce this purchase expense.
If you do not have a RX, you can get one via Lofta. Black Friday I got mine for $35 as my previous one was from a doctor that retired. Key if you've never had a prescription is you are looking for one for snoring, any other apnea and you need a previous prescription even if it is old.

Thanks but you have to do the home sleep test to get the script?

Just need to say you had one, and they will ask the minimum and max pressure settings.

I did prescription from lofta rxexpress. They had a sale and it was only 30 dollars with no sleep study needed. I'm already using a CPAP already. This is for people who already had a prescription in the past (and lost it or expired) and they will ask what is your pressure setting.

I emailed the doctors office and asked them for a copy. They sent it back as an attachment.

As long as it was a somewhat recent visit, it shouldn't be an issue.

Been using the same one for years now.

I haven't been to this site yet, but other cpap sites usually have an option you can select where you put your doctors name and number in and they will call to verify.

Have you seen a Dr for Apnea yet? If you've been diagnosed, they should have no issue either mailing or emailing you your prescription.

I was in the same boat on the last deal for this. I just called my Dr and they wrote up the script and sent it to me.

If your Dr. has a portal simply send them an email stating you use CPAP and you'd like to replace your current machine. I sent a really old Rx that I had along with my latest Resmed sleep report. I had a new Rx in my inbox that same day.
You could try that even if you're not currently using CPAP.
