I use cashback holic and cashback monitor to search for the best cashback.
I also bought gift cards from Raise (mobile app), but I bought the big ones so unless it replenishes, the larger gift cards are only discounted 0.5% or 0.7% right now.
If you have paypal and a Chase Freedom card (the 5% rotating category is currently paypal). You can purchase the gift cards using Paypal and stack the 5% back with the 0.5 or 0.7% back while going through your CB portal of choice.
I also redeemed some Discover CB from my credit card rewards.
I paid with all those gift cards and $251 left over using Amex to utilize the Amex Offer 25 off 250.
