512GB SSD lol Looks like a gaming laptop setup. With that size of SSD, it will be full after 1 or 2 games. You might have to replace or add an SSD right away.
Any other issues other than small SSD?

The price isn't the best considering the legions with the 4060 were available for the same price. It's a little bulky even for a gaming laptop but it also has great thermals.

i5 is pretty tame, you need i7 or even i9 to handle larger games/apps!
Bruh, 14 core CPU is PLENTY for most things, especially when you're power/heat limited like this.

Got this for about $100 less refurb off ebay a few weeks ago. Been running great. Sometimes the CPU spikes in power, though it hasn't affected performance. Thermals aren't the best either, but what do you expect from a gaming laptop.

Legion 5 for $50 more with a 4060 seems like a much better deal no? Only real reason I see going with this laptop instead would be if you prefer the i5 14 core over ryzens 8 core, but remember that most of these cores are efficiency cores, not performance, and 8 cores is good for gaming.

6 performance cores + 8 eff cores; 20 threads with 24mb cache. All you need for a 4050. Thinking about this get this for my 9 yr old gaming needs, and some Office work.

I think this Acer has a brighter screen and bigger battery. Slightly better performance.

The Legion's 7735HS is weak, the 13500HX is better at everything... except battery life.

The 4060 is obviously a good upgrade over the 4050, so the Legion will surely game better.

Intel ultra will be their first series with competent battery life.

No wi-fi 7 and RAM running at 4800 MHz? That's a deal breaker for me.

Not a small issue for a laptop in fact. It means that you will shell out around $100-150 to upgrade the SSD. Also, if you are not handy, opening a laptop and replacing the SSD (and migrating the system) may not be an easy task.
