I almost bought one of these last week used locally. The screen is almost 500 nits and it benchmarks over 9k in Time Spy! Chunky and heavy like a laptop from 7 years ago, but still - rare to see that blend of price-performance-screen quality.

Got this refurbished for $680 so new this isn't bad. A super fairly powerful laptop with a very bright screen. Got it for video editing and it truly fit the bill for my needs.

I'm hoping the i7 model comes down in price as well. I think last time this on went on sale, the i7 was only $50 more.

Not yet as my mine purpose for laptop was video editing. NOTE: After getting this message did load JUST CAUSE 4 and didn't notice fan noise.
