Your low effort comment, trailing off with …, made me wonder if it's reputable. According to camel^3 the lowest price around that date was $7.56 on Dec 4th and sold by a 3rd party. Good deal, but your purchase was not likely from "Amazon itself".

Good to know. Too bad demand for this thing is perfectly inelastic and everyone has to buy right now at ten bucks. Truly impossible to wait for the better price to roll around again, as a weeding tool is an immediate emergency purchase for December for most all of the SD audience.

I bought mine in April for $10 and can't remember seeing a better price than that since I was keeping my eye out for one.
