If it's worse than a hammer drill, why get this SDS?
Time to get something else.
With things like a hammer drill or a worm drive saw, I would always go wired as it sucks a lot of power. If you don't have power available at your project site, I would recommend to get a generator or a big pack like one from EcoFlow (also nice backup if your area experiences power outages).
