They would have sold a ton of these if they had just put them on sale sooner.

You realize that it doesn't matter how many watts the power supply can deliver, it only uses what is necessary. As in, a PC will only use let's say 450 watts regardless of whether there is a 500 watt or a 1,000 watt power supply in it.

Cancelled Amazon order for ABS i7 13700 RTX4060Ti system and ordered this one. $200 more for RTX4070 and a better overall build. ABS system from Amazon on backorder until mid-Jan. I didn't like the ABS's cheap motherboard, SSD, case, and CPU heatsink.

I paid $1156 for a 4070 HP Omen last month. Got $150 Amex credit. Never got the CB from that CB website. Then I spent ~$100 to upgrade to 32GB ram. That was a 7600 CPU. This deal looks ver decent without all the hassle.

Not anymore. Search Hp Omen on this forum and you will find it. It was a not so popular deal because of the hassles.

This is very tempting !! I bought a MSI gaming PC at Costco for 1299 on black Friday. It has a I7 13700F with a 16gb 4060 TI and 32GB ddr5 and a 1tb M.2 with a 2tb spinning 7200 hard drive. I am tempted to return the MSI and get this and just upgrade the PSU, RAM, and add the 4TB M.2 I upgraded my MSI with so that I have a 12gb 4070 vs a 16gb 4060TI for $99 less.

The $99 savings would almost pay for an upgraded PSU or 32GB ddr5 6000 but the I7 I have in my current MSI machine is faster than the Ryzen 7700 and it does already have a larger 650w PSU allowing some headroom and the additional ram and storage.

I know some things about PCs but would love some thoughts.

For some additional background knowledge I am just getting back into gaming my precious PC was a gen 1 Ryzen 1600 and am playing games on a pair of MSI G274QPF monitors that I also got on sale for black Friday at Costco. they are IPS 1440p Gysnc monitors that are 170Hz Refresh Rate & 1ms Response Time.

Thanks and happy holidays !!

How much it costs to make the ram 32Gb (can the existing 16 still be used ?and use the other two slots ) and add 1-2TB ssd since 512GB is a joke . After these additions , is the price still good

Don't buy Lenovo products. I spent $1,400 on a Legion and has had soundcard issues and system crashing since day one. The Legion monitor I bought has no working buttons so I cant adjust any settings on it. Both Legion products were defective trash. I don't buy the Lenovo hype after that experience.
I have had my costco Legion desktop since January 2020 and it is still running 100% { Knock on wood }

To allow headroom so that the PSU is running at lower load which from reading makes it more efficient and also increases it's life expectancy. Also to allow for future upgrades because 500 just seems so low ! Also for example the minimum recommended wattage from Nvidia for their NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 (Founder's Edition) is 650W so 500 just does not seem like enough for this setup. Just my 2¢ anyone can correct me if I am wrong !

A deal site offers 10% cashback + 5% cashback from Chase card for PayPal payment to drop the price to $1028. The deal site offer may end soon. I'm tempted, but want a 7800X3D, so I'll sit this one out.
The 10% cashback is now available, but with another deal site. Unlike the last offer, there's no time restriction, but act quickly before it goes away. $1028 is a steal if you can get it. Good luck!

Smoking deal considering gpu and cpu alone are $900
Sad given there is little demand for desktop RN... mfg of the parts still greedy... and ddr5 well, sucks to put it mildly... i suggest people who can wait do so until 2025 when ddr5 latencies drop along with prices

There are 3 total nvme m.2 slots with 2 of them being empty. I know this from opening the case on mine and adding a 1 TB drive.
