I've had one of these for at least 15 years from when they were Hitachi branded. Just used it again last month … couldn't be happier for typical homeowner and light woodworking applications.

Assuming they haven't significantly value analyzed and downgraded the parts over recent years (they look identical), I recommend this fully.

Good brad nailer that usually sells for $50. These were previously Hitachi and were among the highest regarded nailers. The rebranding of such a good name was weird.

There are very quiet compressors. One compressor with a hose can power up a lot of different nailers, tools, blow guns, and many other uses besides only nailing.
Battery-powered ones unless used constantly won't be worth it because batteries usually weaken after 2-3 years even if not used. Needless to say, parts for air tools are much cheaper and readily available and much easier to use/fix than battery ones. There are other benefits like weight as well, the main benefit of battery one would be portability and convenience on dragging a hose behind bits about it.
the battery powered nailers these days usually get a thousand nails for even the small batteries. Meaning even a half dead one isn't going to have trouble shooting a few hundred.

the only reason i would use a air one over my m18 is the size. Sometimes there are just situations where you can't fit it in. But honestly that's very rare these days.

Brad nailer is not for drywall. Drywall screws are what you want to use.
