Sweet, post one from a reputable brand around this price point… I'll wait…
This is a great nailer at a great price. it did not leave deep marks in the wood when I used it, compared to the HF junk I had laying around.
Nearly 3,000 reviews, 4.6 out of 5 average rating; seems to be rated rather favorably…

Got this from bLowes on sale a while back, used it when replacing trim for my house after replacing about ~1000 sqft of flooring. Probably had 3-4 jams out of a couple hundred nails, mainly towards the end of a nail strip. Definitely a step above Hazard Fraught stuff, I'll probably keep it around for random projects or as a loaner for neighbors.

not to mention that will last as long...and easily repairable.

But i'm guilty i have all the hpt 18v stuff, only though because i'm remodeling a place down my street and needed to be able to work in 15 minute or 30 minute, etc spurts as i get time, without moving hoses, etc just grab and go, otherwise...stick with the compressors. Plus you don't give as much of a crap when you drop them or bang them around....one drop with the others could be an expensive fatal mistake.

I have one of these from before they changed the name from Hitachi to Metabo. Pretty sure it's identical. At least a decade old and works as good as new. Consistent shot every time. I've probably run 1000 brads through it with no jams.

This is only really for someone that already has a compressor. If you don't have a compressor yet, maybe better to buy one of those compressor + 2 nail gun kits when they go on sale (Ridgid I think), or go 18V if you're in one of those ecosystems.

Yea it sucks because I want to get both a small compressor and brad nailer for my basement but I need to get a quiet air compressor (don't want it louder than my furnace). I was thinking about getting a California Air Tools 1 gallon compressor and then either this nail gun or the Bostich.

Ditto, although mine are Hitachi pre name change to Metabo. Embarrassed to say they have been sealed in the box from a stupid good Lowes combo deal going back 10+ years ago. Finally using them this week for a baseboard job.

IIRC this gun requires 80lbs pressure. Not an issue for most all compressors. But if the tank is too small recovery time can be an issue if you are firing off to many nails in a short period of time.
