Whirlpool French door refrigerator. Don't see it at this price often (sale price usually is $1600 and msrp is $2100). Also includes free delivery, haul-away, and parts.

With in 2 years, ice maker slowed down. Freezer froze up, freezer door track needed replacing, water dispenser actuator died. Cause 2 year Costco warranty, they keep fixing it, but it is a regret buy
I bought this 2 years ago & have had the complete opposite experience. No issues whatsoever with this fridge. We left it on the default setting of 4 for the freezer & fridge. No problems with freezing up or anything else. You probably just got a bad one. We've been extremely happy with our purchase.
I've got two buddies with this fridge and same issues. Doesn't regulate temp well and they regretted the water dispenser location. Have to open the fridge to get water rather than a quick tap on the front. I don't think that's anything major other than it could possibly not be as energy efficient.

I have similar problems since I bought a side by side. Ice maker quit dispensing non-crushed, then quit dispensing altogether, inside lighting repeatedly died, cheap plastic bins breaking, and finally it now doesn't cool. Never again Whirlpool.

I have been very happy with the purchase. No issues at all. I have owned it for over 2 years now. For those who are complaining about the water dispenser location, should not have even bought this one. The whole idea to not have water dispersor in the front is to increase storage space in the refrigerator door. People should know what they want first before buying.

We have had this since 2019. My only complaint is the compressor is sometimes loud and a door alarm would be nice if the kids didn't close it all the way. Other than that it works fine. There is a YouTube appliance repair guy that says this is his choice if he was to buy a French door fridge.
Yes. All fridge should have this feature standard, door alarm.

The vegetable drawer track just broke on mine after about a year. It's just a plastic part that falls apart. Trying to get it replaced now

Same here, mine is just 2 yrs old

Did you bother to read the Specifications? It clearly states -

Refrigerator Installation Depth: Standard Depth

Most are designed to just outlast the warranty. Then the cost if fixing it is prohibitive. Sadly, all brands are similar in this regard.

Whirlpool and KitchenAid are trash.

I've seen people also say LG and Samsung are terrible. So, which brand is good? I'm not being sarcastic, I seriously need a fridge.

I had an 8 year old Whirlpool in which the compressor died. I just went through all the research and went with LG. The knock on LG was their linear compressor, which they no longer use anymore. Whirlpool I didn't go with again because they seem to use an old-school compressor that's universally complained about to be noisy. Samsung reliability reputation was just terrible.
