Overture PLA was a disaster with the Bambu generic PLA settings. However, once I ran through manual calibration it was fine. Overall, I'd recommend other brands like Eryone for budget filament.

There's a dedicated overture pla profile in Bambu now. That's actually one of the main reasons tempting me to consider this.
Ender 3 V2 here, highly modded. Dual rails, 3dFused Y axis rail kit, Micro Swiss direct drive kit, powered by a Rpi and Octo/Klipper. Of all the filaments I have used, Overture has been consistently the worst of all spools. 3 different spools, PLA and PETG, all came out poorly. Anecdotally, I would not recommend this at all to anyone.
Just sharing my experience...
I used Overture PETG for about 2 years and it worked flawlessly (I'm drying the filament for a couple of hours before use and keep the active spool in an insulated box with desiccant). I noticed the spools that i bought last 1/2 of year (white and black colors) are prone to warp much more than before. I'd say it's warping as much as ABS. It even smells a bit like ABS. So... i think they cut some corners to reduce the cost which resulted in lower quantity. It's time to switch to another filament for me.

Haven't had an issue yet, I buy duramic and overture, they seem to be almost identical.
Only time I have issue with petg warping is when ambient temp drops below 60ish. That and first layer under/over extrusion.
I use both as well and they stick like glue to the bed.
Same. I use a Light-year bed and this stuff is not coming off til the bed cools without a fight. I printed a 2 foot tall Devastator using matte grass green and matte purple and it came out perfectly.
Does this filiment work in the Monoprice 3D printer?
I picked up the Ender 3 V2 pro on BF as a xmas gift for myself. Can finally unbox it but like you I've no clue where to start. This looks to be ok pricing on name-brand PLA. On amazon there is cheaper stuff available but not too sure if us newbies should stick with name brands. Someone else mentioned Overture has a dedicated profile In Bambu (another 3d printer brand), so if it's enough to get some first party support must be.. ok?
I'm sticking to standard PLA, Glow in the dark, and one roll of "EASY PLA" just to see what it's about. A buddy recommended "PLA PLUS" but I didn't see that on Overture's site.

Yeah, I saw in the manual PLA is one of the materials the 3d printer does. So I bought a bunch of cheaper $15 ones (before 30% off) 1 white, 1 black, 2 gray, and an orange, and got a 2 pack of PLA Plus $40, and 1 glow in dark for $25. It got me to about $115 after discount which was enough for free shipping.
I got $100 in to the 3d printer and $115 in to filiments. Figure the filiment is going to be used up 4x faster than I'm inclined to imagine, so buy big and accept failures as part of the process.
I need to figure out what software I should run on the Monopridce Ender 3 V2 Pro 3D printer.

I do not know what I'm doing yet.
