Huge difference between racing games. There is simulation, arcade, and sim-cade. Some have story, and some don't. Some are open world where you can race and also do "quests". Feel of the car, and how they implement controller support vs wheel support. Some on dirt, some on pavement, some mixed. etc. etc.

Aren't all racing games essentially the same? Why buy this when I already have other racing games?

I just purchased this on Steam...seemed like a great price to not pass up on.

I made a post on page1 with more racing titles to get besides this...But I finally went with this one and NFS Heat since they were the slickest deals.

update: Deal is dead on SteamPC. Congrats to everyone who got this. Applause
Amazing price jump now.... but it will come back down on the next sale....though maybe not any time soon...until end of (Spring, Summer, Winter again....)

For those that care, you might want to look at the additional info in the right side-bar on the Steam Listing:
  • Incorporates 3rd-party DRM: Denuvo Anti-tamper
  • Requires 3rd-Party Account: EA Account
  • Requires agreement to a 3rd-party EULA GRID Legends EULA
  • EA Play subscription requires acceptance of EA Play Terms
