What is Movies Anywhere?
Disney's free Movies Anywhere program allows supported purchased titles to be shared across other participating digital movie providers carrying the same title. After linking your other digital movie accounts (i.e. Apple iTunes, VUDU, Google Play, Microsoft Movies & more) to your Movies Anywhere account, all current & future purchased titles will be added to each of your linked digital movie libraries, no matter which provider the supported movie was originally purchased through.
You can also watch Movies Anywhere supported titles via the Movies Anywhere app on supported devices.
The Abyss is not the extended cut. This is theatrical.
good point. seems Aliens is on sale as well. Must be a Cameron thing. I'll probably get Abyss and True Lies anyway since for some reason I don't own them.

If you get the abyss, can you confirm that the extended cut is maybe part of the extras. If so, can you confirm that is in 4k?
I'm waiting until March for the physical copies. I've waited for years, I can wait a little longer. Hopefully True Lies looks better without any compression.

The extended movie is in the special features. So both versions are there. Just got it. using Vudu. I just checked again, its HDX, however.

It is there. How to tell if it's 4k without seeing the badge on it, beats me. I'll have to watch and see

Abyss on the other hand is an instant buy, that movie was a vhs repeat favorite as a kid.

These aren't remastered are they? I thought Cameron was still dragging his feet.
