Doesn't matter if it's 3gb or 4gb ram. I have the 4gb and it's so slow. They are 3 years old and everyone should know by now, that if you're android device isn't top of the line when it comes out, it'll last a year or two.
Yes I get quarterly updates IIRC, but its worthless.
I currently own the 3GB/32GB version. I do not consider it slow if you're doing one thing. However, opening/switching apps will show some slowdown. Considering the $100 price, the performance meets or exceeds my expectations.
I want to mention that the TP-Link UE300C USB-C to wired ethernet adapter works very well and speeds up internet access.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A9/A9+ look nice, but are not available in the US right now and rumors of $190 pricing seem to make to a poor value IMHO.
