Slow don't buy.
If you're playing basic games, I guess it's alright. Or plan to use only one app, sure. But if you switch between apps/tasks a lot, it's slow as molasses. You'll be able to tell from the get-go. But it's also slow in apps as well lol..
Unless you need it immediately for navigation it's GPS and eCompass are one of best and most accurate wait for it's update of the A9. Should be available in the US market in the next month or two.

Got one of these for kids to watch YouTube and play Roblox a couple years ago. As others have said, slow enough to frustrate kids, and enrage me trying to fix it for them. I ended up buying A8 versions a year later on a sale. I (think) on that if you bought the 256gb storage version (or maybe 128) you got 6gb of RAM instead of 4gb. Night and day difference for $30 at the time of sale. The A9 will be more of a replacement for that, not this Lite version. I feel like this is more comparable to an Onn tablet or an old Kindle fire. Although that might be giving it too much credit. Anyway hope that experience helps anyone looking to buy it for kids. Slap a mil grade case on it and forget about it.
Watched the FishBee review/comparisons on yt, hard to recommend this aside from software support or if you're already a Samsung UI fan. Alldocube's 8.4" Netflix Edition, Android 13, 8/256gb, Helio G99, 5000 mAh, tablet with widevine L1 will be available on Amazon later this month and the sale should be around $100-120.

Lots of complaints about 'buy something better' yet zero recommendations within this price point....how helpful
BTW, looks like there are some open box offerings from $76.99 to $89.99.
If you need something right now, check out the Lenovo Tab M9[lenovo.com]. Samsung is heavily discounting the Tab A7 Lite to clear out inventory before launching the Tab A9[samsung.com] in the US. Unless you REALLY need a tablet this size at this price now, I would hold out for the Tab A9 which has better specs. Good comparison between the A7 Lite and A9 here[youtu.be].
Alldocube also just launched the iPlay 50 mini Pro NFE[alldocube.com], which has the same processor and GPU as the Tab A9, with the advantages of 8GB RAM, a full 1080p screen, and 256GB of internal storage. Personally, I'll be upgrading my Tab A7 Lite to the iPlay 50 mini Pro NFE once available.

Thanks! I was actually just looking at the Lenovo Tab M9, appears to have much better specs and performance over this Samsung. I didn't think about the A9 and had no idea the iPlay even existed. You gave me lots to think about!

No problem! Right now the iPlay 50 mini Pro NFE is only available via AliExpress, but will also be sold on Amazon (US) later this month here[amazon.com]. After doing an extensive comparison between all of these, I'm holding out for the iPlay since it has the best specs at a comparable price.
Only major drawback is the iPlay has a mono speaker. I'm almost always paired up with bluetooth earbuds, so not a dealbreaker for me. I'd much rather have the additional RAM (4GB doesn't cut it these days), and full 1080p display. The Tab A7 Lite, Tab A9, and Lenovo Tab M9 all have 720p panels. On the Tab A7 Lite, you definitely see the pixels which gets distracting while reading.

Amazon's refurbs might be better for watching video.
Not bad but not great
