This soundbar, from the same refurbisher, is also available on Amazon for a bit more (245$ at time of post), and the reviews there (both on the refurb'd unit and on the NIB version) are steering me away.
Specifically, multiple people have noted problems with longevity of the unit, with numerous reviews citing 6-24 month lifespans. There are also several reviews that discuss issues with the sub not connecting properly beyond ~3 feet (and certainly not at the 30ft claimed by Klipsch). I try to discount negative reviews but it seems like a common thread even with new units and with only a 90-day limited warranty it isn't a risk I want to take.

No offense. Both reviews are the typical 'purchased' reviews by large audio companies.
That being said, the sub out is a nice feature.
The sound is generally good for the money, especially the sub. I can feel the rumbles. My purchase decision was influenced by the review done by Andrew Robinson on Youtube. However, besides the power supply issue, there are other things that I'm not completely satisfied with. Sound stage is not good. Sounds still come from the center portion of the TV and there's no distinctive left or right. Dialog clarity, especially with male voices, is not great even with dialog function turned up and bass reduced (to be fair, modern TV shows & movies are to blame). The app control is basic and doesn't have the option for custom EQ. I think more expensive sound bars from Bose, Sonos, or Samsung do a better job with soundstage & dialog clarity and adjusting settings with app.
I also bought the wireless surround speakers for this bar, and they are just okay. I don't use them anymore as they made a strange noise like a siren several times in the middle of the night, causing me to get out of bed to unplug them. It might have something to do with the Amazon power supply causing noise in the circuit. It's safe to say that my experience with Klipsch sound bar hasn't been the best.
