Is there Home and Business version with the gift card?
Same question. Don't you have to use home & business now if you have sold over $600 worth of stuff online? I find it hard to believe that nobody here has
Did it offer the state and all the e-file as well for this price? I've used online forever and it gets so expensive. More than $64 for sure
Same thing happened to me. Used freetaxusa for quite complex stuff for several years and then needed a specific state form and had to switch to TT. Boo.
Freetaxusa i recommend to most people. Can cover investments, rentals etc no issue. I prefer the interface vs TT. Easy to use

Hopefully, it's not difficult to determine which politicial party is more interested in resolving this "uniquely American" problem.
Regarding TurboTax "editions": I used the TurboTax Premier for many years because their carefully-crafted (and misleading) wording makes it sounds like you need it for downloading stock transactions from brokerages. This is definitely not true; in recent years, I've been using the Deluxe version and haven't noticed any difference at all. You can compare the features of Desktop Editions [intuit.com], but be warned that a lot of those line items use phrases like "provides additional help with..." and "supports advanced...", which I think are very confusing. Also, since I have a simple corporation, I've started just copying the information from prior years and filing via mail (something that nobody should have to do in 2023). Intuit are about as confusing as the tax code that they continue to help to obfuscate.
This happened to me. I doubt it will recur, but ....
Just save the downloaded installation file along with your license code to your normal backup storage (local or remote) or burn it to disk. You can even extract the *.exe with 7zip beforehand and run setup directly from there. I have versions going back over 10 years. I did need an older version once and it was nice to have it readily available.
The basic without state is $36 online. Take $10 off from Chase and darn cheap.
Hard to find, you have to scroll WAY DOWN the page to find desktop products.
Hi, can you help to explain the part about for this year, they changed it to same account? What do you mean exactly, assuming one would like to use the Desktop CD version shared between 5 people? Thanks!
