be warned the DSL-1 only powers 16-ohm speakers. So, you can't by the Monoprice 12" Celestion Vintage 30 cab for around $200.
If you are comfortable opening the amp up, there is supposedly an unused 8 ohm output on the transformer that you can swap out for the 16 ohm. Don't even think there is soldering involved.

Note: If you don't know what you are doing, don't open the amp up and electrocute yourself…

Kenr I'm huge H&K fan and I'm probably gonna get a puretone, duotone or triamp in the future. I found one of these babies for $200 but would also like to use with my Marshal DSL-1 please advise:

the one you picked is fine. However for slightly less get this https://www.thomannmusic.com/harl...intage.htm is is better. its $376 shipped, and you get 2 x V30 speakers , just run one and its 16 ohms and you have a pair of 12s if you want to run a higher power amp for gigging. The only downside its bigger and heaver, that maybe a plus?

thanks man. very cool website, and some of the prices on the highest end professional marshall tube amps are insane on that website EEK!EEK!EEK!

But I made up some test shopping carts and it seems they won't ship to the usa, although they will ship that sweet amp cab you pointed out Peace

Is the proaudiostar website not actually adding to cart for anyone else too?

If you go to Herley Benton's Reverb.com store, it's $369 shipped...
https://reverb.com/item/62760671-...tage-black

or $509 if you want UK-built Creambacks instead of V30's
https://reverb.com/item/76724108-...-creamback

I don't know why Thomann doesn't send us there instead of their site which has high shipping costs... sometimes the reverb savings is just a few bucks, but sometimes it's a lot more than just a few...
