I believe this is the second lowest price ever on this bit set -- going all the way back to 2009. The lowest price was a crazy good $14.99, but it was short lived (a few hours, maybe). That said, this is a solid good price on this set - most other sellers aren't (normally) close, however, I noticed that both Lowe's and Home Depot also dropped their prices to $20.20. Lowe's will be free store pickup, but Home Depot also offers free shipping. If you don't already have a set, then I'd recommend picking one up.
Here's the link to the
Home Depot [homedepot.com] deal, as well.

Is it possible you were drilling too fast? Heat kills edges

I'll add my experience to this as well. I have used these Bosch bits for drilling tile and they worked great, but keeping the bits cool as you drill is a must! This is a great deal.

If you only have to do a couple holes in tile once in a great while, you might get away with a regular carbide-tipped masonry bit using the same method— go slow and use water to keep the bit cool.
One more thing. Bosch and Diablo are under the same corporate umbrella. Diablo glass and tile bits of this style will be the same bits.
These are for ceramics (no feldspar), and they work fine when used as intended, they are not for the porcelain you were assaulting
I do so adore posts about tools
But the description shows:
"DRY DRILLING
For glass and tile, this bit is designed to work without requiring water."
