I'll report back in as to whether my 5310 arriving tomorrow is sourced from FedEx, as was the case with my recently purchased 7212 and much earlier Dell Refurbished purchases.
This should be an easy option for anyone shopping for the kid/grandma/productivity Windows PC and willing to jump through the hoops for Dell Refurbished (basically intensive testing upon arrival).
Good luck!
Jon

I've bought a 5300 2-in-1, 7390 2-in-1 and a 5490. All have been fantastic for around $150. Amazing for school/office/youtube/flying on a plane. I do play some old school or classic games on these, but wouldn't recommend the integrated graphics for anything newer. They do have a few models with Nvidia GeForce MX230, but honestly doubt that'll get you very far in gaming either. All in all though, highly recommend these products for dirt cheap.
However, don't feel overly obligated to purchase in this moment either. Dell Refurbished is constantly having 40-50% off sales on everything. If you can't buy now, make no mistake another sale will come and they will prob have even better stuff by that point.

My dell desktop refurb was condition B and so far very good; was a little nervous ordering however, but all they had was B. usually a desktop just sits in a corner, so less mobility damage. however some people and things...........meh.
some say Laptops in condition B are a throw of the dice, probably better off with Condition A for peace of mind.
EDIT: By Win 11 I mean can it be upgraded to Win 11 hardware wise? I already have a Huawei laptop ewith a Ryzen processor that has Win 10 and won't allow upgrade to Win 11 even though it keeps trying to despite telling me it doesn't meet the requirements.

So 40% off is average at Dell R. It's still a good price, although 8th gen is a very dated laptop now. They must be some very lengthy leases if 7th and 8th gen processors are still showing up at Dell R. Either that or Dell R has a large warehouse full of them, but they're only able to refurbish a small number of any Dell machine each week with Allstate's small staff.
Maybe they've got 5 techs refurbishing dozens of different machine types each week. They tend to go through batches with a few different models, then suddenly there are a few specific models with large 30+ inventories that they want to blow out the door on a coupon. I suppose it's faster to work with one model at a time for mass-refurbishing.
So maybe Dell R is the bottleneck in the slow refurbishments of their large warehouse inventory that's filled with old off-lease machines gathering dust.

I did the window 11 upgrade for my XPS 13 which has i5 Gen 8 CPU.
For ryzen, I think you need zen 2 or higher for w11 upgrade
