I've been lifting for nearly two decades now and, at this point, I don't supplement anything other than black coffee before the gym and some occasional protein powder throughout the day. Eventually you will find that most everything out there that isn't steroids is snake oil and even proven supplements (i.e. creatine and the like) are probably not worth the money spent.

Eventually you will find that most everything out there that isn't steroids is snake oil and even proven supplements (i.e. creatine and the like) are probably not worth the money spent.
I'll say that other ingredients like Citruline, Beta Alanine and BCAAs contribute to muscle endurance which helps a lot depending on your workout routine, but again, you would need to take the correct dosage for them to even work properly, so i would be very cautious about buying pre-workouts.
