Twinkly Strings App Controlled Green Wire Christmas Light String Indoor and Outdoor Smart Home Lighting Decoration, RGB + White LED
They do not plug into one another but you can use the app and link them together so that they act as one set. I had my tree with 600 lights, a 600 light set and a 400 light set all synced together this year.
Edited to add that I recommend somehow marking the end of the strands so you can easily find them when it's time to take the tree down. I spent over an hour pulling mine off this year as they tangle very easily and didn't want to let go of the branch. I seriously considered chucking everything out the door - I was so frustrated but remembered how expensive they were... But even then š”
just in time for christmas,thanks
100% can confirm this is gen II. I bought this exact set from same retailer last year at this time. It doesn't go any lower than this.

They may look the same but I bet they don't have the mapping functionality built in so that the app knows where each pixel is located to do the animations and such. If you're looking for a colorful tree then any set of leds will work, but if you want the animations and special effects, then they become more expensive to get the smarts.
And the sale price isn't 10 dollars off, it's 100 dollars off which is pretty significant.
These are smart and offer many effects with custom colors. The app has so many effects and I can set the colors. So what's the difference? They are brighter?
Edit: seems like you can control every single led, the amazon one has a bunch of effects that you can customize color and order but not every single LED with the app.
Received the 600 ct strand this week. Just curious since xmas is over, are you guys repurposing the lights for something else? Looking to get ideas on what to do with them since my kids LOVE the idea of adjusting the lights and designs etc. Can i zig zag them on a wall and make like a pseudo curtain light? I'm open to all ideas!

That's a typo or they compared to the smallest set because the normal price is 249 dollars for the 600 count.
