Printer drivers have become impossible. Literally had to find an old driver on a 3rd party website to get the scanner to work.

I rolled the dice on this one for my classroom since we might print enough ink might not sit and clog. We have BW laser for everything non color. We do have access to building color laser copier but long story why only if can submit days in advance.

I want to avoid monthly subscription. I turned off auto updates and connected to WiFi using screen on printer. I also setup on Mac PC Chromebook manually, no HP AIO installer. Doing it this way I never got a sign up message.

It prints and scans without any HP login so far

I needed to install starter carts or machine wouldn't setup. Then I put generic ink back in.

I'll see how long it allows generic ink to print. It was $33 with coupon for no name Amazon XL ink all colors and black.
