Costco's also has extra set of feet if you don't want to use the wheels. So the price difference is really for the liners.
Yes and the included extra feet are good if you want to make this into 2 units, one with the wheels and one with feet.
That's what I ended up doing.
I'm a shorty at 5'5" and I can't put the last 2 shelves on it as the taller shelving unit.
So I'm putting it together as 2 separate shelving units.
This thing is more than I imagined it was going to be.

Super sturdy and well made.
The wheels are amazingly good.
The wheels also add to the height of the shelving unit. I can't lift the shelves over my head to make it into the taller shelving unit.

I got it on Thursday.

It's 90 pounds and for a shorty like me it was very unwieldy to get out of my wagon which I had to bring it in the house in. I weigh 7 pounds more than this shelving unit so it's challenging.
But I managed it.
Probably the best multipurpose shelving you can buy. I have about 10 of these I've bought over the years. The upside is a lot of different accessories in general work with these or are available. They are also relatively easy to assemble and dissemble (a rubber mallet works well with this part). I did pick up a 24" deep one for my shed, but 18" depth is pretty damn good.

Yeah they don't have the third rail anymore/are much flimsier. BUT they are not priced like the higher quality ones anymore Frown. The price on all these went up a lot between the Trump steel tariffs and the Covid supply chain snarls/inflation. Sam's Club still has the stronger ones, but everywhere else you are looking at 160+ to get the higher quality shelves that won't sag under real weight.
i didn't know the ones with the 3rd rail doubled in price! holy crap

from the pictures, these are inferior to the ones they used to carry in the store which had the 3rd support rail that ran down the middle of each shelf longways. this 3rd support rail significantly improved strength of each shelf, and assisted with weight distribution, eliminating the deflection sagging you commonly see when very heavy items are stored long term on the cheaper wire units
this made them excellent for storing extremely heavy and dense items such as boxes of ammo, heavy equipment, auto parts etc. throwing a piece of OSB across each shelf further solidified weight distribution

if anyone can comment if the photos are accurate or not, that would be helpful
if these do not have the 3rd center rail, i would seriously suggest reconsidering due to the price (they are priced like the ones with the 3rd rail)
Someone posted a Saferacks link to similar shelves that I purchased. Price has been raised since.

Lower weight limit but 24" depth, included wheels and have extra trusses going down the middle of the shelving.

Weight when using wheels is A LOT lower than when using feet (600lbs per shelf when using feet, 600lbs TOTAL when using wheels) but I wasn't going to pile the weight on anyway, really.

Have a tile project so need to wheel things in and out. Also just want to be able to wheel things around in general and switch up the garage as I see fit without it being a monumental job.

Yeah the heavier duty ones jumped a lot Frown. The cheap ones from like Lowes, Target, Home Depot etc are all 70-80 now WITHOUT wheels. Add wheels and you are at or above the Costco/Sam's Club price on sale.

You can still get the better ones through Sam's Club for now, they are $100 with wheels and 6 shelves through the 24th I think. Would definitely pay the extra 10 for those personally. Normally they are $120.

If you're a Sam's Club member but not a Costco member, Sam's Club has theirs on sale for $100 this month. That's the in-store and shipped (if you're a Prime member) price. They're the same shelf if I'm not mistaken. Dimensions are listed slightly differently, but I think Sam's just accounts for the wheels in theirs. They're both incredibly solid units.

https://www.samsclub.com/p/member..._product_2

Edit: as other users mentioned below, they are NOT quite the same. Sam's comes with liners made to fit the shelves. Both are very sturdy units, but the liners do make storing things that aren't in bins/boxes MUCH easier.

Sams club version has a third truss down the middle, which is MUCH stronger resisting sagging in the middle than the Costco version. The Costco version is already sagging according to some members on here.
