The majority of my experience is as such derived from the cheaper service. None of the Android phones I tested, including the S22U nor S23U exhibited lasting speed issues. There have been a handful of data outages, and delayed tests. However every provider has flaws. Overall I feel it's consistent in NY.
I mainly use visible for unlimited tether rather than 5GUW. Being able to feed my laptop or steam deck is a major perk for me.

My Tello to Visible port was in approve status by Tello within two min and showing active on Visible in 4 min from when I hit the submit button.
So, sometimes it works. There are steps to do on both sides. Tello creates a limited-time porting pin.
Sucks yours did not go as well. I hope you get it fixed.
(By the way, on porting out, I learned that Tello stated they would park a phone number for $3 a month).
