Already on Woot! Damn! I have the Q990B from last year. Decent speakers. The App sucks big time though. All kinds of bugs and crap when trying to add the speakers and TV to the app. It sucks!

Sounds is OK. I usually have it on Volume 18 and it's plenty. It goes a lot higher though.

The power cords for the rears are so short. Annoying, had to buy an extension cord. And info display looks like crash. Hard to read. Decent sound though.

If you get 9500s for $100, that puts your total at $660. Compared to that, Q990C at $820 is a steal, imho. I would grab Q990C if I were you!

Can anyone provide their input if they own the Q990C. Does the soundbar itself have any timbre, bass? That's important for low mid range things like dialogue. People seem to be marveled at the dialogue being so clear, but does the dialogue sound warm/full or tinny and basically TV speaker fullness without the sub?

Found this old thread bc I was considering piece mealing the same set up. Wondering why 990c at a higher price would be better. I thought the q900 is the same as 990c but without rears and the 9500s were the rears that come in the 990c package. Is that wrong? If not than 660 is a better price, no?
