It looks like the US "Reservation Gift" cannot be used towards the phone either: "The Gift cannot be applied to the pre-ordered device(s) and must be used at the time of pre-order purchase towards purchasing additional eligible products on Samsung.com, or in the Shop Samsung App."
Exactly. Having a choice is better. Still have not had anyone explain what the customer GAINED by removing the expansion slot. Prices have done nothing but go up since it's removal.
getting rid of the SD card was a money grab on the high end phones....storage is cheap.....they figure if you can afford their high end phone you will pay up for more storage.....they include and brag about the A54 having SD card storage

Samsung AU voucher is for tablets, watches, and accessories not phone discount like the US option.

Pretty cool, been waiting for this!

Plan on getting the S24 Ultra comes out. Lots of new features over the S23 and will be the same price.

Last year Samsung.com made everybody get on bill credits instead to get a good trade-in value. I ended up picking Google Fi because of this and paid $600 outright for the s23 ultra with zero trade in and no contract. Sold my s22 ultra quicjly for $500. So $100 to upgrade.

I'm curious how those people will be able to upgrade again this year if they are locked into bill credits. Typically I only pay a couple hundred dollars and I'm able to get the newest phone every year. But this bill credit thing seems to put a stop to it. I prefer to own my phone's out right so I don't owe anybody anything if I want to leave or if I break it.

I want to switch to AT&T's firstnet plan, but you can't use the unlocked phones on that. It has to be an AT&T phone. I'm guessing to get the AT&T version I'll have to sign up for bill credits. I know to AT&T has an annual upgrade plan you can buy, but I did the math last year and it is a total rip off.

The only 'new' feature I've been waiting on is a MicroSD slot

New features? Like what? Some software ai stuff? So far from leaks it sounds like the GoPro hero 11 to 12.. where 90% was software and they took out the gps chip and used no gps to say the battery lasts longer.

It wouldn't be much difference from S23 ultra. There will be no need to upgrade.

If you buy a phone on Google is the phone unlocked for another carrier? I need 2 lines but I don't need a fancy phone for my 2nd line.
