It's not even their 2-in-1, so why do they have 2" bezels on either side of the keyboard just to remove the number pad? Why?

it kills me how these otherwise solid machines are stuck at 60hz. 75hz is the minimum I can stomach these days, anything lower just feels so slow.

It weighs 4 lb with the 16 inch screen, that can not even do the resolution of my phone.

Can someone explain to me why laptop technology is lagging behind everything else? Even a handheld game console has better resolution.
Bro, it's a 5 hundred dollar computer. Your screen is smaller. How much was your phone?!

Because most people never uses number pad. Don't just think of yourself. I hate number pad and I have the exact opposite question. I don't even look at laptops if they got number pad. Look at Apple, minimalistic and practical.

"Oh, look at me, I'm Mr. FrugalAndRich, and I Hate number pads! I hate typing in numbers efficiently and I love using the number row two rows away from the home row to type in all my numbers! I like it when companies reuse parts to save on costs without passing on those savings to consumers!"

Dell.com is a mess.

They canceled a Christmas present I ordered without any notification. I only found out by logging in and checking the order a week before Christmas.

I ordered something else immediately to try and use my Amex credit. Here, we are 3 weeks later, and shipping shows "delayed" with no indication of when it might happen.

I'm not sure why so many people bought into Apple's pitch that removing features is somehow a feature.

Pulled the trigger on Inspiron 16 plus i7-1370H 16gb and 1TB ssd with intel iris XE for $580 total including tax shipping. Used 17% dell employee coupon and Amex $120 off to bring the price down from $799. Hopefully I didn't pay much .. anyone care to comment..

Consumer demand, most people look and cpu/ram and of course backlit KB and they excuse crappy screen and build quality.
