In for one of 27inch. Was looking for a cheap office monitor that does not require crazy spec. Vesa and VGA with 27-inch FHD for 70 bucks is all I asked for. My search for a monitor is done. Hoped $50 Amazon monitor comes back, but this is as good as that deal.

Well, it is actually not for me, but my staff in the office who doesn't work on computer whole day as we are in the dental office. I already have qhd monitors for myself and will soon move to 4k oled monitors once they come out in 2024.

My guess is when they make the panels for 144hz or higher for gaming monitors, they fail to do it, but only could do 100hz, they collect them and make models like this and sell for cheaper price. Think about size and resolution and refresh rate and port of these monitors. I am getting this monitor only to use in my office computers that needed VGA port for old pc, but I would never use it for gaming nor even for office work. You see this deal because normally, no one would purchase this abomination for full price if one has the slightest idea that the gaming monitor is.

I imagine that the added friction of filling out the form and mailing it off probably results in a lot of unrealized rebate offers, ultimately benefiting the company.

Is this considered a dark pattern?

If you read the mail in rebate it's actually $60 if you do a review and print the screenshot of it.

It's like the 2010's with that deal and MIR
