They really should put a usb c/thunderbolt hub on these
CES starts in a few days. Lots of OLED monitor announcements coming, along with pricing. Jsut wait a few days.
These comments are nuts. Telling people on the Slickdeals website who are looking for deals to wait for the new models that come out in the next few months that will most likely near double the price. Makes no sense.

I have this monitor. When I try to wipe it off with a soft cloth, it literally removes the antiglare coating. It has happened twice. Dell is replacing my monitor a second time. I've had monitors for 20+ years and I've never had anything like this happen. I didn't use any chemicals or anything on it. I touched the screen of my current monitor and rubbed it with my thumb for testing after dell ordered the replacement. It leaves fingerprints on the screen that will not wipe off.
I don't understand it. I can't figure out what is causing it. The coating should not be coming off this way. It's like even touching it removes it. I would swear there is some protective film or something on it that I didn't remove but it's not the case. I have checked over and over. I feel like I'm losing my mind.
I am afraid to even wipe off the next monitor that I get. We all get some stuff on our monitor occasionally, but it might have to just stay on mine because I feel like if I wipe it, it's going to ruin it.

I am using microfiber cloth. The spots buff to a mirror shine. It very clearly looks like the coating is gone. I cannot even buff out fingerprints with a microfiber. I need a new monitor.

Did you use any chemicals? I had a few fingerprints on the screen just now and got them out by breathing out my breath onto the screen (very light amount of moisture) and buffing it out gently with a microfiber cloth. There's something you aren't telling us. Did you use a very high concentration of isopropyl alcohol? Are you reusing a microfiber cloth that could have a chemical residue on it?
Have you been diagnosed with OCD? Seriously trying to understand this.

Dude trust me I went through all of this myself. I thought I was going crazy. I put a dab of bottled Water on the fingertip and that was it.

You're doing something wrong. Use your breath, and very very lightly buff it out with a microfiber cloth. Like barely touching the screen. I just did it on mine with no issue. Everyone who owns this monitor have the same screen.
Might want to double check your microfiber cloth to make sure it has no grit in it. I like using one of those lens cleaning cloths that come with camera lenses and sunglasses. They are technically microfiber, but are a little different.

I will say Dell has excellent warranty support.
