Saw 3 of these combo chests sitting in my local store marked down to $298 from $548. Brickseek inventory checker and Home Depot's website both say unavailable, but I know there are 3 sets in the local store currently.

I wish more power tool brands would make cheap, portable slide out drawers for their packout-like systems. I think Ryobi wants like $100 just for a medium sized slide out drawer and they're supposed to be cheap!

I bought 2 of these in grey back in the late summer (I think) at this price. I like them a lot and feel like at this price and this day and age - they were a great buy and I had zero buyers remorse. Soft close drawers are nice and the offering of different size drawers with the quantity of drawers fit my needs really well.
Oh, really easy to put together too if you're only using a car to bring it home.
I've bought a couple Husky chests and cabinets lately a little over half off. I called the store on the big one and asked for a price check and they look on HD.com like we do and it shows full price. I asked the nice lady to actually scan it and it came up with the sale price. From $1198 to $498. Definitely worth the call or a visit.
It may help someone else , I saw one with a dent on top and on the side , I ask cashier about a deal , she call the manager and gave me $100 discount. Maybe it work for you guys .
These Husky drawer's are difficult to pull open, there's quite a bit of initial resistance. The Harbor Freight ones slide out without any resistance at all. Of course the HF ones are not soft close though. I prefer HF ones, since I'm an old fart and don't feel like yanking and pulling the drawers out.

Normally when you buy one, do you get the floor model or they give you a new one inside a box? I assumed if you bought one, they would give you a boxed one. But thinking about it now, it does seem like you just take the one already pre-assembled on the floor.

My store usually has several out on the floor pre-built but I'm sure if they had a boxed set they would sell you that. When the red were on sale, they had like 15 of them pre-built.

The one on the floor (dusty as hell) but can't complain for $198 . The top lid was a little bent , couple little scratches and the top key was lock inside, not biggie ,everything was a easy fix.

I got 50% off for a dent. I did also buy the display since they were out of other ones
You have to go into the store for these - at least here in Charlotte, it shows as unavailable online, but all the Home Depots have them marked down out on the floor.
The 36" one was marked at $398, those actually looked a bit nicer. Might be worth the extra money.

Adam savage stated that once a tool goes in the drawer, it's forgotten. He recommends a peg board system instead. While I do agree with him, I still like my drawer with a work bench
