This set was $99 on clearance at several HD's shortly after the $159 and free tool deal stopped. It's the HP+ so it's the good batteries, but not the dual port charger like the 2 port kit has. I have no need for batteries at this point in the Ryobi Game, but this is a Meh deal at this price either way.

I always hear that faster charging wears out batteries faster. If you are waiting for a battery to charge, you need more batteries! -- that what slickdeals is here for.

Last deal on this was $100. May be better to wait if you don't need immediately

ryobi needs to come out with an actual fast charger.

takes forever to charge their batteries compared to my m18 ones.

Yes but not by any significant amount.

But even if it did that doesn't mean the option shouldn't be there. Every other battery maker has fast chargers.

They do. It's the PCG008 model. If you absolutely need to roast batteries that is the one you want. I prefer the 6 port charger even with 20+ batteries. I always have batteries ready to go in any size. I have necessary last a ryobi battery unlike the problem the M18 line has. I've had several bad ones on that line and the chargers smells awful when it is trying to melt them in record time. No issues on my m12 batteries though.

Apparently they just released that in august, haven't looked for one in a bit.

weird that they have done basically no advertisement for it though.

also apparently no one else has bought these since i can't find anyone reselling them, got my m18 one for $20 no way i'm paying $90 for a ryobi one lol.
