I bought it from walmart for $130 during thanksgiving sale (slickdeal). I can still return it under 90 day return policy.
this is really an amazing deal.
A wiki might be nice with all the questions and link to app. I was wondering about the BB rear kits. There appears to be two versions, one with Atmos and a cheaper one without. I have vaulted ceiling so may avoid Atmos price. My question is can I turn off the Atmos effect on this Sammy SB, ?? I assumed so over the app perhaps, I still need to down load the app.
1. Make sure Rear Level and Rear Level Up volume set at five or six.
2. Front volume at three or four.
3. Turn off DRC if your soundbar has that feature. Q800A don't have.
4. Turn off the voice enhancement option through smart thing app. It suppress the surround volume. (Most Important)
5. Turn off the virtual surround. (It is designed to upmix the stereo.

Please let me know if any of had these similar issues and is there an option to fix.
Once unpacking it's big hassle dealing with returns.

I am big into DIY audio so I'm trying to avoid comparing this to some of my other stereo setups.
The highs on the sound bar aren't as tinny as some reviewers made it seem. The mids are a little underwhelming. The sub sounds pretty good and the rears are a must in my opinion. They pick up the slack in the midrange.
A few notes. The rears added themselves instantly. You might need to close the app and open it back up to see them in the settings. In device settings you will see channel level. I set the sound bar to 2 and the rears to 6. I might end up tweaking that but you could absolutely tell they were there.
Also, if you do a positional test on YouTube, the sub doesn't chime in. I'm guessing it plays from any of the 5 channels but it won't test independently.
It's a pretty great setup for less that what I paid for 2 horns for some DIY speakers 🤣
Did I mention the rears are a must?!
