scroll wheel breaks easily, made of very very cheap plastic. i RMA'd one the other month and trying to sell it on ebay
My scroll wheel came broke and they want me to pay to ship it back lol no thx
I have the wireless X20 version and I don't recommend it. It's the same as this, just wireless.

I had to send it in for RMA twice and both times, I had to pay shipping.

1st time the scroll wheel broke. This was after 6 months. The replacement that EVGA sent only worked wired or Bluetooth. 2.4ghz didn't work and I had to pay to send it back to them again.

Stick with their power supplies. I've no idea why they decided to try making keyboards and mice.

Never again for EVGA mice. RMA for disconnecting and cut outs. New mouse, 6 months later same issue. Tons of people have the same issue. Junk mice.

You pay for what you get in this situation. This mouse feels as plastic like as the other 800 similarly priced knock off gaming mice you see on Amazon.

For casual gamers, the wireless version is better without cords.
Cords get in the way of general usage.

These were on sale over BF. Just wait and I am sure it will come back.

I've had a Coolermaster MM720 for the last 6 months - it's a a tiny bit small for my large hands, but it's lightweight and durable so far. I use it for a mix of work and gaming.

I bought it because my former mouse was prone to accidental right clicks and this one doens't have that issue, as it has a 'finger rest', which you might find as ergonomic, too.

This is the worst mouse ever. Even at this price, save yourself the headache and buy something else.

I wouldn't even buy it as a gag gift or for white elephant.

Probably because their growing frustration with their GPU partners led them to know they would be leaving that specific realm, but wanted to stay in hardware in some capacity

EVGA did not start out making power supplies and I am sure their 1st attempts were not as polished as they are now, but they be in the space if they did not venture out a bit

I wouldnt condemn EVGA for their efforts in new areas and I have no reason to think they could not have come up with a more successful mouse with sustained effort in the sector

The problem is EVGA probably doesn't even make this mouse. The most likely scenario is EVGA are just putting their name on cheap Chinese products like all other known name brands do.

I don't agree with this at all. In fact a good chunk of the mouse is covered in a grippy rubber so you don't even feel plastic and the weights make it feel higher quality.

The problem is the mouse wheel. Just look at all the posts about it.

I picked up a GIGABYTE GM-M6980X for $10 on newegg and I'm happy with it.

Another crappy mouse. And I just went through two Logitiech mice that had the crappy double click issue. I used to love all things Logitech, now I won't buy any of their products.

Is there a decent wired mouse out there for gaming that actually works and stays reliable for over one year? Is this something that's too difficult for engineers to design?

This honestly seems to be a problem for almost all brands of mice these days. I had a Kensington mouse that I rather liked and decided to buy another and keep the old one as a spare. The new one's wheel broke within a month.

Kensington refused to replace it and so I went searching. Recent reviews on Amazon for seeming all mice are full of reports of the wheels failing.
