Picked one up a few weeks ago at this price. Great Lg Gram alternative if you want a light laptop with a great screen

Insanely light at 2.58lbs.

But that means fans always on, keyboard flex, and power limited CPU with smaller battery (58wh)

It's an office laptop.

Hows the fan noise? Reviews make it sound horrendous and always on.

It is on the irritating side when plugged in, though I usually wear headphones so I don't notice it.

Strangely, a few times I've taken it out off battery the fan seems minimal, so it seems like it might run more plugged in?

It is sleek and light weight but generates lot of Heat and Noise.
I got this last month, returning back to store this week.

I wonder if there is a BIOS setting or profile to change

Just received mine. The fan does come on during heavy CPU loads, but for general use and especially traveling, this thing is great. The only thing I would comment on is the spaces between keys seem to be larger than my old Asus OLED Vivobook.

It's all about your needs.

The one with the 7840u is on sale at bestbuy for $850.
I wonder if it's worth $150 more? Is the 780m much better than the 680m?
