trying to find a good use so I can justify the purchase. I don't hunt. I do garage and yard work.

and given its analog display, you are looking at maybe 1 degree for each lb of reading.
i would care a lot more about whether my luggage is 48 or 51 lbs, and be able to read that on the scale easily, than worry about if my luggage is 250 lbs or 320 lbs.
