Good price.
trying to find a good use so I can justify the purchase. I don't hunt. I do garage and yard work.
Maybe I can use it to weigh rocks. Smilie

it is dumb to use for luggage. how are you suppose to secure to your handle? with that hook? and how do you lift 50 lbs with comfort with that hook?

there are way better product for cheaper for luggage.

I wondered the same thing. I checked Amazon just now and found luggage scales cheaper than this.

Well this thing is rated 330lbs.

You can hang it in the ceiling in your garage and weigh luggage that way.

i don't know which airline you flying that allows for a luggage that anywhere close to 330 lbs.

and given its analog display, you are looking at maybe 1 degree for each lb of reading.
i would care a lot more about whether my luggage is 48 or 51 lbs, and be able to read that on the scale easily, than worry about if my luggage is 250 lbs or 320 lbs.

No one said you are flying with 330lbs. I'm responding to you saying that you can't pick up 50lbs with it even though it is designed to pick up 330lbs.

I'd say so. You can get a digital one that has a strap for luggage for around the same price. The hook will rip through your luggage, so you'd need to get a strap anyway. Also, unless you're weighing huge quantities of meat from a hunt, needing anything more than 100 lbs. is overkill. Even if you're catching fish or weighing large quantities of meat for sausage making or something, you'll never need more than that. With an analog it'll also be difficult to figure out the precise weight when you have such a large scale.

Although, at this price range, you also question accuracy and longevity.

everyone doesn't have 2 x 1 ton chainfalls in their garage ceiling? no lifting at all.

huh. well, I guess those people are the ones that would buy a game scale.

Just use your home scale for luggage. Weigh yourself with and without the luggage. The difference is the weight of the luggage.

Unless you're Rosie O'Donnell... Adding luggage would certainly exceed a home scale's capacity.

Read the reviews, and one said it was good for stuff over 10 pounds, but not accurate for weighing stuff under that. So it sounds like it would work ok for me on my bass fishing trips!
