Dietary cholesterol has little to no affect your blood cholesterol. Most of the cholesterol in your body, is made in your body. Cholesterol is essential for your body to function properly.

Just eat eggs for more protein.

Natural foods > processed anything.

I just started to take protein after workout recently
What's the difference between getting one like this vs target brand or MuscleTech for example? The prices are very different
biggest difference is how clean you want to eat. This is way cleaner than the muscletech's of the world. way less fillers, etc. also you want to compare protein and servings to each other not just pounds. if you just want cheap protein, don't care about ingredients and your workout/diet is great you'll be fine with the cheap crap tbh.

I wish these had less cholesterol….been using Orgain (which is also on sale!)
Just an FYI, if you are worried about cholesterol, I'd worry more about drinking coffee than your cholesterol consumption.

Coffee contains cafestrol, the most potent chemical we have found at increasing blood cholesterol levels. It is removed by paper filters, but if you use a mesh filter/french press/etc, expect your cholesterol levels to surge by A LOT. (The current theory is that it inhibits bile production, but they aren't 100% sure). They discovered this in the 1990s, but no one seemed to care because nearly all coffee consumed in the 1990s was paper filtered.

That isn't true.
It matters, but not as much as your overall consumption of fats and carbs.

People with high cholesterol should absolutely be monitoring their consumption of cholesterol.

It's excellent. I eat four scoops every day. Two for breakfast and two with my lunch.
How long does the package last with you doing that?

I'm looking right at the website:
Contains milk and soy.
May be processed somewhere that also uses soy, but ingredients do not explicitly state soy ingredients.
Allergen info needed to be stated for FDA regulations

You say $11 off. That would be $48.99 not $43.99.
If you are seeing $48.99 online that is the online price, many times the items on sale online and in store are less expensive in the store which is likely the $5 price differential.

It is true despite the continued push of outdated information. The 2015–2020 Dietary Guidelines for Americans removed the recommendations of restricting dietary cholesterol due to lack of evidence to support that limit, the 2020 guidelines do not mention cholesterol.
From your own source " the amount of cholesterol eaten has only a modest impact on the amount of cholesterol circulating in the blood."

Here is a review article from 2022. "there is not a direct correlation between cholesterol intake and blood cholesterol." https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/...MC9143438/

It is hard for "experts" to admit they were wrong. This is part of the reason this myth still persists. Dietary changes that can affect cholesterol are limiting processed carbohydrates and potentially saturated fat to a degree. There is still considerable debate as to whether elevated cholesterol levels actually increase the risk for heart disease. There are always outliers and unique situations, but I doubt 30mg from a protein shake will have any impact especially when most people consuming protein supplements are physically active and that is the number one preventive measure you can take for CVD.

Not telling anyone to avoid whey because of cholesterol.
Just saying that the recommendation still seems to be to avoid high cholesterol if you are in a high risk.

Not disagreeing with anything you are saying, but im also not a doctor or medical expert.

This was never on a 97 deal. They've had this exact deal a few times past couple years.

I get this every time it's on sale at Costco. It's also Certified Gluten Free.

Optimum Nutrition is labeled gluten free but their website suggests it may contain cross-contamination with gluten.

Also, this chocolate tastes better than ON Chocolate.
Honestly I would have to say ON tastes better. But this is much cleaner and better overall.
