They will require a real number to register any new accounts, now. Before it did not text you a number to confirm.
On the plus side they do a lot of emails, some fot BOGO throught the year. Worth getting emails.
For those thinking the 365 birthday day trick works...it doesn't. It shoves the points to your account once a month. Oh and for those like me who tried to game the system by changing your birthday, that doesn't work either. Basically, it only gives you one credit per calendar year. So, a few years ago, I changed my Bday from December to January and it gave me credits both months but I got nothing when I changed it to February or when I changed it back to December.

The bread is 90% of what makes these subs good. Burgers too. Get some terrible deli meat and some french bread from the store and you'll never know the difference.
That's what I do on occasion. It's not like the meat is any different than what you get at the grocery. Boar's Head maybe? And agree that the bread is the best part, and hardest to replicate...but I suppose that's usual for a cold cut style sandwich. And for the "juice" I go with balsamic vinegar, olive oil, and italian seasoning. Not exact, just different...but still really good.
Seems I'm in the minority here, but felt compelled to reply.
I've been to one JM - a newish location in Framingham, MA. I went twice. The first time was terrible - soggy bread, sparsely filled, and expensive. Since I thought this may have been a one time event since lots of people like JM, I went again about a month later. Still expensive, still lacked filling, but at least it wasn't soggy. Never again.
Even in the metrowest area of MA, there are dozens of sub shops that are way better than JM, and half the price. I'm looking at you, Lola's!
I mentioned consistent earlier, but I retract that because i've ran into inconsistency as well. Some locations truly suck. I have 3 very close to me, but we refuse to go to one because they just can't get their stuff together.
Soggy = too much vinegar/oil and not eating immediately. I actually hate this part of JM's which is why I typically only eat in store or if I get it to go I ask for a side of oil/vinegar. But if it doesn't feel "filled", you can always ask for more.
Points post shortly after pick up. I got 12 points at pickup checked an hour later and had 72 more.
Can confirm this. Got the 12 points and a little under an hour later, an additional 72 are showing up. I was a little concerned because the deal showed in app yesterday but did not show up today when I ordered.
Why would you think they would? The idea here is you go in, give them money, get a sandwich, they give you points to come back another time to get a free sandwich. (let's not convolute free here, mkay?)
What you're asking is "can I use my points to basically get a free sub, and then you give me another 72 points to get another free sub?"...like, no, no one does that.
ummm it's called asking a question? the points were from previous purchases...so while it would be "free" it isn't really

Also, a few of my Chase cards have 10-15% off as well at Jersey Mike's. YMMV
