Deal History includes data from multiple reputable stores, such as Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. The lowest price among stores for a given day is selected as the "Sale Price".
Sale Price does not include sale prices at Amazon unless a deal was posted by a community member.
Got the Citation 200 from the other deal. It isn't a friendly speaker to use. Mainly due to lack of ports and bluetooth/ apps only. It makes it difficult to connect to sources that aren't smart enabled. Sound wasn't particularly nice sounding. EQ does make it a lot better but with all the hassle, a bookshelf/monitors would make more sense for indoor use.
Pretty annoying that there are "slick deals" like this... im blocking OP
Good idea! The amount of staff posting fp deal is annoying. Yet if one of use common folks steps out of line even in the slightest , we get 'warned' Tired of forums and their moderators acting like gestapo. Any other SD competition that's similar with activity? Lately it's been mediocre here, increasingly so for past year.
Who are these staff and why are they allowed to? Are affiliate monies pooled and shared among them?

The one missing feature they didn't add when the shift to corporate happened was a much needed option to even hide things once we seen them or bought them or didn't need them. Good luck blocking someone in their web now. They removed the blocking feature from Google, youtube, an youtube music even. I doubt it stops their posts from being seen if you can even block here?

About 5 years ago there was a shift where they went corporate. Could never get the info on where the real deals went. If you weren't around back then we didn't get stuff for free; sometimes we were payed for them. The corporations could see where the web traffic came from an began communication with SD. If I recall some threats were being made even. Definitely a few payoffs later an the whole site got revamped. There are other sites out there you can find if you happen to search specific SD postings. I'm gonna assume the old regulars ended up at bulletinboard/fourm sites. Would be best if they didn't allow Google to monitor them/add them to searches an used redirects. other than a new place I'm checking out today I've not had any leads that looked promising. Seems like all the "popular" deals have a lot of thumbs up and no comments. I'd imagine all the staff thumbs up each other's deals to make them popular. Sad how easy it is to scroll through and instantly know what deals were posted by staff before even checking.

From a customer review, 3 years ago:
"If I'd paid £200 for it I'd probably have lived with it but for £449 I'd expect a lot better"
