I've had a unit like this for the past 12 years. The big positive, is being able to put a load in to wash and dry before leaving for work (or going to sleep) and having it done by the time I'm back. The negative - it takes 3-5 hours for a load to go through wash and dry. I dont recall this ever being an issue for me, as we dont typically have anything that needs to be washed and dried quickly - but thats something to keep in mind when considering this machine

Do you have a unit with an actual heat pump? Lg and other brands have sold other models that don't use heat pumps. They use a cooling plate powered by water which causes it to take much longer to dry. I have one of those units as well, and i agree its not for everyone cause if you need something dried fast or just cleaned fast its just not going to happen. But the heat pump based units are much faster (wash and dry in 2-3 hours). Slightly slower than a traditional drier . But pretty darn close in my opinion and no need to move the close saves you some time as well(unless you need to take things out of the drier to air dry). The other big change that takes people a bit to get used to that all ventless units have is that they build up humidity in the machine. When you open it up once the cloths is done the cloths will almost feel a bit moist. This is just cause the air in the chamber is a bit humid. But it does confuse people the first time around.

Overall, all-in-one units are amazing in their convenience and efficiency, but they introduce some new quirks that you do need to get used to. I personally don't think i can ever go back to any other type of unit.

I have been using the GE Profile all in one for the last couple of months and it takes about 2 hours for a full load. These newer models use heat pumps to generate hot air. Older models of all in ones used a different technology. Check and see what yours is. May explain why it takes so long.

Has anyone been able to figure out how to add dry as a default setting for certain wash settings?
We just tried the towel setting and dry is off by default?
Need to press the dry button to get it to dry. Makes absolutely no sense that dry is defaulted to off.
In the app, with Washer Turned on. You will see all the wash cycles. Once you modify, you can push to washer.

I haven't tried it, but that's whats showing in app.

So it doesn't "remember" the modifications you make to the cycle the next time you run the same cycle? You have to re-modify the cycle every time? That's surprising and disappointing if true.
So far it doesn't remember. Always goes back to defaults.

It will push it to the washer but if you turn the knob it goes back to default.

I used my phone number and the delivery date I requested and it pulled up the tracking info.
Wow thanks! I see my delivery date now.

Anyone has luck drying comforters? We've had to add one full drying cycle (1:30) to even microfiber comforters, which are much thinner than cotton/ down. This brings cycles to 4-5 hours consistently. Also, when contents weren't completely dry, even after finishing the drying cycles, I've noticed water stuck in the seam of the drum. Not the rubber seam at the door, but the seam on the metal drum. Whatever nearby would pick the water up, making them quite wet. This also forfeit the use case of those time drying settings when I wanted to add 30 min to a load that was supposedly dried but turned cold- if that 30 min isn't long enough to completely dry the cloth/ fabric, those water stuck at the seam would actually turn cloth more wet at select areas.

Don't be a derp like me and forget to buy the hose hookups. I just assumed it came with them since installation was included.

It was delivered today but I'll be installing the hookups myself tomorrow.

Mine did come with supplies though- they were also listed under rxo's shipping page in my case, along with a bunch of wrong supplies listed below. They thought they were installing a stacking unit though, and started with asking me where the actual unit is as they walked off their truck. The had no idea what they meant. Once they figured out (me pointing to it actually), they knew what supplies to grab for the install.

Ah, thank you for pointing that point. I emailed RXO about it, so we'll see what they have to say.

does the install include new water lines or do we have to purchase them seperately?

This is very concerning. Some say the dryer is bone dry when finished but I am beginning to see these may be incentivized reviews. For your case, do you think this could be due to damage during delivery transit from the dent you had?

Anyone else experience water in drum or gasket?

Does the door open automatically when finished?

I did reach out to RXO and they scheduled an appointment for Saturday. I don't really want to wait half a week before I could do laundry again, so I bought and installed my own metal braided hoses. I didn't cancel the appointment - my plan is to ask them to review the setup and make sure it's all good, as well as ask them to leave the hoses they were going to use so I can have them as a spare.

I've done a few small loads and so far, not bad. Loads are typically dry - I did not notice moisture in the metal drum. I did run a load with a single down jacket, and while the cycle was fairly quick, it did not fully dry the down jacket in the single cycle. Not completely unexpected since I had to run at least 2 cycles as well on my gas dryer.

I plan on washing a cotton twin comforter next.

Edit:

Forgot to include the biggest flaw so far ~ lint collects on the gasket. I was hoping the problem would be minimal since it has a lint filter, but there is definitely enough to need a wipe after every load IMO.

I noticed the lint too but it washes away with the next load. So far so good
