Sounds more like a marketing name than a technical one.
This version of Mobil 1 was introduced last year. It has additional additive to prevent water and other contaminant build-up in the oil during the stop-and-start operation of engines in hybrid cars.
At introduction it was exclusive to Walmart; that appears to still be the case.
0-20w only; change recommendation is the lower of 15k miles or 1 year.
Should work in any engine that is designed to use that viscosity, but other Mobil 1 versions may be better value when they have rebates.

I would not use this in a normal engine. In the spec it says hybrid engine runs differently then non hybrid engines- generally at low temperature. Normal car usually are running at higher temperature. Just stick with your normal oil not worth trying to save money and ruin your engine if you don't have a hybrid engine.
It is a full synthetic made specifically for hybrid engine vehicles. I don't see any reason why you couldn't use this in a normal engine.
they say it has a diff properties though.

Another issue arises from the fact that the lubricant can come into contact with electrical components within the hybrid vehicle and receive an electric charge, which can cause major problems. This is why hybrid oil and transmission lubricants for hybrid vehicles need to have different electrical and conductive properties than oils for traditional vehicles so they are fully compatible with insulating materials and coatings they will come into contact with.
I like that it has dexos in it. This will be perfect for my hybrid! I just had an oil change a couple months ago, so if I get this I'll save it for the next one.
Edit - actually the Penzoil brand I got was $5 cheaper off Amazon. It's still $23 right now so I'll probably just get that instead.
