Interesting way to sell $7 headsets.

Reviews on staples.com seem like people are generally pretty happy with these for office use. Most people say they're comfy but cheap - some people say they might not last more than a year with regular use and they just feel cheaply made. Also the noise cancelling is sub-par. Those seem to be the main drawbacks otherwise they do the job. Reviews here:

Can anyone tell me if the wires on these are permanently attached? As in, is there a 3.5mm I can use and bypass the USB stuff?

There are usb to 3.5mm adapters out there. You could go that route if you want.
