I almost pulled the trigger on this last night. I just keep reading reviews on these oversized monitors. Seems like a lot have issues and have to be returned. They did give me thus promo code not sure if it will stack as it didn't for me. L6KL9GMDJB

Anyone know of a good monitor/tv that worked well with streaming, ps5, and dex. O don't really like sitting at desks. Need something I can use laying on the couch
Lots of lineup of variant size miniLED TVs from TCL and Hisense in CES.

I only qualify for their first responder discount, which is zero. I guess I'm not so special after all.
Imagine expecting to be treated better than everyone else anytime you want to buy a product... Do you only help the less fortunate if it's on camera?

In 2026 they'll start announcing massive monitors like this that can have their curvature adjusted. It'll hit the market in 2029 and be reasonably priced for the masses sometime in the early 2032. By 2035 there should be some pretty amazing Black Friday deals for them, so for anyone wanting to buy a curved display should just hold out for 11 more years.
From the tech shows this year, it looks like the next big thing will be transparent displays and display film.

This is the education store, right? I am surprised nobody has commented. I guess I was in college almost two decades ago, so maybe times have changed. Aside from the anomalous trust fund baby, WTF student, presumably with little income, needs (or has the means for) a luxury monitor that costs about 10x what a normal one goes for? That this is even in the education store has me scratching my head. Would be like Porsche having a graduation day sale.

This is probably one of the best pieces of tech I have purchased recently. If you are a power user that KVM devices and have multiple monitors this is a good buy. This has a built in 4port kvm for this device with scroll wheel selection. When breaking up the screen in 4s you get an equivalent or a 27in quad setup(in horizonal mode). The sound and view from 2.5 feet is amazing (I use it horizontally).

To be clear, they have their own smarttv software that has a learning curve and feel is clunky, but once I abandoned trying to use that and just selecting my devices like a KVM is had been great.

For the FPS gamers, you can focus (reduce the screen size and location) to fit your preference in the games that require a smaller screen. This is all driven by the device so it is outside of the game and very functional on the scroll wheel.

In conclusion: If you are a power user with
multiple PC/inputs
have multiple monitors
use a KVM
Likes to game
Like to watch TV
Will RTFM and understand all the functions offered
It's a solid buy.

Is anyone really using a computer monitor like that vertically? Less than 1% of the world probably.

Samsung's store tends to offer the same deals whether you have an EDU discount or an EPP discount (you work for a company that gets samsung discounts). These deals are almost never strictly EDU.

Also, of all the things a college student could waste their money on, this.. probably isn't the worst. Not the best for sure. I'd say the 49" monitors at $800-1000 are a far better value. Or any other monitor for $400+. But hey, beats spending it all on beer. Applause
