Why is this a deal? Looks just like most cheap cookware with disc-bottom as opposed to fully clad.

The Costco website always marks up their prices compared to their warehouse prices.
I just saw two YT videos from the same person and they showed that this was $29.99 with a $6.00 off for $23.99 during Nov 27 2023. Now their latest video from Jan 10 2024 shows that this same Greenpan Stock Pot is $24.97 at their local Costco.
Probably best to call your local Costco with the Item Number to see if they have this item in stock for that lower price instead of buying it online.

For a stock pot, you don't need fully clad.

I had a very nice Cuisinart disc bottom stockpot and had frequent issues with soups/stews burning on our gas stove, even at lower heat. I gave it to my daughter, who has an electric ceramic cooktop and it's worked fine for her.
I bought a fully clad Cuisinart pot and it has performed much better. I've since read in some cooking forums that others with gas stoves experienced the same issue with disc bottom pots.

Costco is upfront about this, and it's not 'always'. Every item that's also possibly available in a warehouse is listed as 'May be available In-Warehouse at a lower non-delivered price', typically because shipping is included in the item cost.

It can make people feel a little irrationally exuberant.

As a guy who made hundreds of gallons of soup a day from scratch. You need a clad.bottom or they'll scorch

Those who have instant pot can use the steel pot instead of this pot.
