Yes the $300 was deposited 4 days after the direct deposit hit.
The slicker deal is combining it with opening a Chase savings for $900 total bonus.

Open a Chase Total Checking account and Chase Savings account using https://account.chase.com/consume...vingsoffer
Chase Total Checking: Get a $300 bonus when you set up direct deposits totaling at least $500.
Chase Savings: Get a $200 bonus when you deposit a total of $15,000 or more within 30 days of coupon enrollment and maintain the balance for 90 days.
Chase Total Checking + Chase Savings: Get an extra $400 bonus ($900 in total bonuses) when you open both at the same time and complete all qualifying activities.
Got my $300. But I think I'll be closing the account soon. I hate chase as a company
Thanks!

Does anyone here know if a ACH/Direct transfer from Fidelity/Cap1/Schwab would qualify for DD?

Can you just go into one of the branches and open an account to get this offer? My friend tried to do this one but they would not allow them to do it online.

It says one bonus per account, if I had an account two years ago and got the bonus then does that mean I am not eligible since I have gotten one bonus already?
If the account was closed, then you are eligible after 24 months.

I have done the checking bonus 3x. nod

FYI...I have done multiple checking account free money programs....and Chase by far is the biggest PITA for dealing with. Their security is way to tight. Make you jump through all kinds of hoops.
Chase is actually the quickest to give the bonus.
As soon as the direct deposit hits, I get the bonus a week or so later.
I have Chase credit cards so that may make a difference with regards to "security".

I have done this checking bonus 3x --- 2024, 2022, and one or twice before I started keeping records.

It is "easy" money.

Likely not if you already have a savings with them

I had opened a Chase checking 2 years ago without taking a bonus (didn't apply code). I still have the account open. If I open another account now, will I get the bonus? Should I close the existing account before opening the new one?

Wow. This thread is 1.5 years old. Guess this is what Chase does with the interest money they don't give their customers. 0.01% for a savings account. I just keep a small amount of of money there in case of emergencies. The rest goes to Capital One who pays around 4.0%. Chase just sucks for investments.

Some people ate able to churn Chase bank account bonuses over and over. Mrs and I each did it once and have never been approved since. 🤷

Question: my wife and I have joint personal (checking + savings) and business account. No individual checking account. Any idea if either of us will qualify?

Every time I try to do an offer with these dummies, the $900 one, it says they were unable to open accounts for me, even though I have 3 CCs with them and exceptional credit. May go to a branch and try.

All 3 of those are definite no's. If you have a business account you can typically get the DD to trigger if you ACH PUSH (initiate deposit from your existing business account), do not pull / request an ACH deposit from this new Chase account from your external bank. Almost every major institutios does not work anymore.

If you have a local/regional/obscure credit union or bank, you may be able to trigger the DD with an ACH deposit. People have been triggering it with $5 deposits or less, but keep it $5+ to be safe

Creating an Amazon sellers account & selling an item to yourself and then withdrawing into your Chase account is still working I believe.
Any extra charge if you use that amazon seller route? also what about ebay?

In order to be eligible for $300 bonus, do I need to receive $500 first 3 months of account opening or just receiving only once of $500 is fine to qualify?
