Here are my reasons for purchasing it via Apple.

1.) 4k versions pretty much guaranteed vs who knows right now at VUDU.

2.) Free 4k upgrades from Apple if the movies get upgraded later.

3.) I trust Apple to not mess things up. Movies anywhere only works when given the right information. I have had some issues with VUDU not relaying the right information.

4.) Apple has the best quality so most of my digital is direct from them, even if it is MA.

You can apparently only earn two per month, so you'll get two.

People are not listing the best reason to buy from iTunes instead of Vudu. iTunes will list these movies separately in your library VS Vudu would bundle all of these together and you would have to click on that bundle each time to see the list of movies.

Some I've never heard of like The Last Detail
‪1973‬
Jack Nicholson stars as a Navy Chaser who decides to show his callow young prisoner (Randy Quaid) one last good time before delivering him to the brig.
Ah yeah, I remember seeing that a decade ago or so.
It's a time capsule from life 51 years ago, but really well-acted. Jack slayed.

These are mostly horrible movies not even worth $1 for all of them.

Going through some of the list, I didn't notice extras included on any of them (and I looked at major titles that definitely have them on certain purchases elsewhere, such as physical disc). Did you successfully attain any extras from this deal itself?
I was able to check all 100 titles thru the Cheap Charts site and these have iTunes Extras:
  1. About Last Night (2014)
  2. 2012
  3. Just Go With It
  4. Christine
  5. Salt
  6. Gandhi
  7. Just One of the Guys
  8. The Cable Guy
  9. Anatomy of a Murder
  10. Concussion
  11. Mr. Smith Goes to Washington
  12. Stripes (Extended Cut)
  13. Easy Rider
I don't know if more have extras via the Movies Anywhere app like how Mr. & Mrs. Smith Unrated gets the Theatrical Cut at MA along with all the extras that were on the DVD release on top of the Unrated Cuts different extras. I only checked a few of this collection and I see Salt (Extended Cut) gets the Theatrical Cut at MA while it's not listed on the iTunes Extras.

Again, it's ONE DOLLAR PER MOVIE! If half of them suck or don't interest you, it's TWO DOLLARS PER MOVIE! Even on sale you're not going to get 25 4K movies for $25. For me probably a third are going to be chaff, but that still makes the remaining movies just a couple of bucks and I don't need to file 100 Blu-rays. (Yes, when the EMP ends the Internet I'll be sad, but other considerations than "not being able to stream" will probably take precedence.)

I would argue that, with titles usually on sale for $5, for this bundle to be worth it you should plan to see more than 20 of these movies.

Personally I could not. There's a lot of bargain bin junk here.

Thanks. But what if the movie isn't supported By MA?

I mean 2 movies out of 100 are not MA. At that point you need to just decide how badly you want those two movies I guess. 98 movies will port to whatever service you prefer. Apple is by far the best platform to redeem on since they provide free 4k when available and will also upgrade titles. So, weigh things I guess if you don't use apple tv.

Just go to the tv app search for "Cable Guy" click on the movie and scroll nearly to the bottom- you'll see Bundles section.

I'm just going to summarize why you should stick with iTunes.

iTunes - Free upgrades to 4K makes it a no brainer
VUDU - Chinese company, lifetime 40 GC per account, possible downgrades
Microsoft - restrictive
Google - rarely has bundled deal

There are three different cuts for Salt. Extended Cut (101m) is ported as Unrated in VUDU (101m). There is also a Director's Cut (104m) but I haven't seen it.

Honestly there's about 10 films worth buying that I don't already have. This deal should be $25-50.

I switched after they announced the free 4k upgrade policy and it was definitely frustrating having some movies only on vudu and others only on iTunes. Especially trying to explain the situation to others.

But after Vudu added their Lists feature I created a list of "My Not On iTunes" movies. I have about 40 of them. A couple of the movies the Blu-ray had a HD Vudu code but the iTunes Digital Copy was SD only. And there is no free upgrade with SD codes so the ones that aren't MA were stuck in SD on iTunes. With those I deleted them in my iTunes Library so no one ends up watching it in SD when they don't have to.

And so now I treat iTunes as my main library and only buy non MA compatible movies there if I can help it. By last count I had around 60 that are "stuck" there. Friends and family seem to be more comfortable with the idea of using the AppleTV app anyways. But that list I have on Vudu made it easy browse my "other" movies for something to watch.
I agree. I have an AppleTV but my primary library is on Vudu. For me, a big reason is that it's viewable on Windows PC browser, or Android. AppleTV content is far more locked down if you're not bought into the Apple ecosystem. (It's even more difficult to buy.. you can't buy from an Android or Windows browser. )

Oh.. and if I wanted this deal I would buy it on AppleTV. $1 per movie is amazing but I looked through the list and only found maybe 10 movies I would watch. Certainly not a good deal for me.
