I paid $40 for this when it came out, Best Buy probably had it on clearance for $24.99 not that long ago if I were to guess.

7 & 11 year old talk about this all the time. They hear about it from friends at school. Game says 13+, I imagine the game would be fine for the 11 year old to play, however, I'm worried about the 7 year old. If I buy it, the 7 year old will at minimum watch the 11 year old play it.

How scary is it? Just don't want to give the kids nightmares but they never stop talking about this game.

At 7/8 it's borderline. It's a lot of jump scares. My two got into it closer to 10. That said they're not really graphic. Just things jumping out at you. It depends on your kid. Though you might end up being spared being asked to go to a certain rodent's pizza place. Watch Markaplier or however he spells it on Youtube. He has a bunch of play throughs,

ETA: DekuDeals says $19ish at Walmart all the time. Amazon price also now dropped back to 20.99.

Like others have said, it's mostly jump scares. However the game's backstory is a little more disturbing for younger kids and deals with abducted children who are murdered and stuffed into an animatronic. I only know this because my 10 year old also talks about it nonstop, and she was quite afraid of FNAF when she was 6 or 7 but is all about it now.
