I thought the built-in panel was going to be great as it would save me money, but I never thought about the positioning of it until it was way too late. Hoping my folly at least will get some others to think about it first.
It will just start recording over the oldest footage again unless you use the homebase 3.

I don't believe you can actually view the footage by taking it out of the camera and putting it in your PC - I don't think it's in a standard format. I tried it before and couldn't get it to work, but that was a couple years ago.
