Showing $621 OTD with Samsung with work discount trading in the S23U. Seems like a bad deal. Unless something makes it enticing might stick around with the S23 Ultra amazing phone.
Stick with the S23U for at least another year. Phones only get increment updates now. Only reason why I want to trade in my S22U is because my battery is absolute garbage. Cant even make it a full day with moderate usage anymore.

Ordered on Samsung site. Upgraded a line on a phone that was paid off. Did a trade in for a Galaxy A03s that I bought off Ebay for $40 and got 800$ trade in credit. Received additional $100+50 off accessories and got a Watch 6 as well.

Whatever phone/item i choose it still shows $500 off, should I get getting less? I'm confused if they'll make me pay more later. Trying to trade in a cracked S9, the samsung site even allows you to select that it's cracked and it still shows $500 off / credit for trade in.

You might be looking at the wrong trade in value, no way $500 for an S9 as the S22 is 450. I see S9 at $200

Getting diddly Squat for my S22u 512.. I still have my S22u because all year, Samsung had mostly crap deals compared to all the previous years. I usually upgrade a previous generation. This is the first time I had a phone this long. Patiently waiting. June was always good for Samsung deals... we'll see.
I dont understand why everyone seeing such bad trade in values. It literally says 800 or 1000 for any phone any condition. What kinda of thing are you trying to do? New line? What carrier?

I just traded in an old ass Galaxy A03s and got 800$ credit on a line upgrade

I think most people are trying to buy unlocked phones. If you go with a carrier model, assume you get the discounts offered by the carrier instead of Samsungs discounts. You also get locked into the carriers rules eg Verizons offer that the discount will be offered over 36 monthly installments which means that you will need to wait that long to trade in the phone or lose the remaining discounts if you prepay early. Samsungs discounts are immediate and you can trade in or sell the phone the day after you receive it. All your choice.

Anyone know if you need to trade the same imei phone as preorder entered imei? Planning to upgrade my dad's phone but he won't be available due to different time zone and want to know if imei match matters. Model will match just don't have the imei available.

I think I might have traded in a KNOX tripped phone before. I just reverted back to stock, and locked the bootloader. Don't quote me on that though, but I'm pretty sure I have done that in the past.

Debating trading in my S21 Ultra for either the S24+ or Ultra. TIV is $550 and I'm afraid it will drop a lot by the time S25 is out.

Thoughts between the S24+ vs. Ultra? I do use my camera daily/weekly and some might gaming. Not sure how much difference I would notice
You can always look for a refurb phone on the website. I got a refurb s22 Ultra in May 23 for $138.50 by trading in a Note 20 5G ($330 credit). It was also a 512G version. Such a deal.

With all the S23U trade-ins they should have a bunch available in a few months.

I am on regulat Go5Plus account, and unable to verify my T-Mobile account through Samsung. Ordering directly from Apple is never a problem. It was the same last year as well, Samsung hasnt fixed the problem.

Here is the message I receive:
Your account type is not supported on Samsung.com. Please see the non supported account types listed on the page. Please select carrier device with Samsung offers and a payment option other than carrier finance...
