How do you get this to work if you only keep it for 4 months?
Thought it's a 24 Month Bill credit?

"Get reimbursed over 24 months
Receive $27.09 off each bill for 24 months
The credit is tied to the person who activated the device"

Sorry for the ignorance but I'm new to Google Fi deals!

They were supposed to be reputable, but I sent them two sealed unlocked s23 ultras and they
appraised them as locked and in very poor condition. I threatened a lawsuit, made many calls until they paid up what promised.

Hey just wondering did you check your form of payment if you got charged for your order already? I got an email receipt from Google but not an email from PayPal which I used to pay and didn't get charged yet.
I placed my S24 order yesterday at 12:17pm. Got an email instantly from Paypal that I authorized a Payment to Google Payment Corp. Got an email from Paypal at 12:26pm saying a Purchase was made. My Paypal account shows a pending charge of $382.71.

Hey thanks for the great tip. I just quickly checked the ebay prices, and the S23 Ultra's are selling for considerably more than the Google Trade-in price. I don't even need to cancel the trade-in, they send you a package with a prepaid and if you don't mail your phone back to them, you forfeit the trade-in.
Just fyi At Gazelle all fi phones are considered Unlocked OTHER, not unlocked.
Tried to sell a s22 unlocked(fi) to them and it went from 300 something to 167 (numbers from memory)
They sent me an email YOUR PHONE isnt as described
WE have reclassified it as unlocked other the new value is XXX.XX
so I had them ship it back to me.

I currently have S23 ultra from last Fi promo. I owe $300ish on it to Fi. I can pay it off but in no rush since it's interest free financing. I also have my S22 ultra sitting in a drawer. I can trade that in for $265. Probably the best I can get for it at this time. Any idea if I trade in my S22 Ultra and get S24Ultra, would I still be back to maintain my S23 Ultra payment plan? So in other words, one line but 2 phone payment plans? So, far it seems to be letting me do it but I haven't submitted the order yet.

Do you know when you reactivate service on a line that had credits (not first month of service, just first month after re-activating) if they do not apply credits to bill? Its strange because my first bill shows credits applying to taxes and fees but not towards $20 line fee

That's stated at this site https://support.google.com/fi/ans...9364?hl=en . "On the first bill, trade-in credits only apply to tax, device protection, and financing. On the second bill, trade-in credits apply to the whole bill". Happened to me before.

If it's the same as last year with the S23U promotion :

- Subscribe to the cheapest plan ( voice + data )

- Buy device ( S23U 512 GB was $600 )

- Once you receive the device, activate SIM ( last year's promo required a port in if you were a new customer. Did this from a cheap PP plan.. after activating the device using the number assigned by Fi. Not sure if it's the same again ) Some folks ported in from Google Voice, but I'm not sure if I'd recommend risking the discount using this option.

- Left the Fi sim in the device for a couple of days ( to ensure the port went thru fine and the 120 calendar day counter started successfully )

- Once the counter hit 117 or 118 days remaining, shut off the device, removed the sim ( physical ), and put it away ( Do NOT put the Fi sim in another device. Ever! )
- Popped in my carrier sim ( physical ) and booted the device and used it as I would.

- Kept watching the counter ( every 4 - 5 days ) to make sure everything was as planned.

- On the 121st day, cancelled service.

- Done

My monthly Fi bill was around $26.xx ( tax included )

Was your line suspended/paused then you reactivate for this ?
Or you canceled the line but still have google fi account?
I am the latter.

Guys! Contacts changed shapes and came back! You can get 20dollars (tax included) visible everything unlimited for 2 years instead of paying 50 dollars( plus taxes and fees) for 2 years to get this phone. Do the math!
Have you been using them? I am curious about the difference between the $20 and the premium option. Any issues with data/speeds on the $20 plan, if you have one?
Thank you

The sign up process to choose eSIM said "reactivate" ? I was trying it last night and it looked like I was signing up for a new plan...I didn't see anywhere where it said "reactivate".
Yes, new plan with $20 Flexible. There is no such thing as "Reactivate" at Google Fi, it's exclusive to us at SD here...lol

Last time, I took the Fi sim out and tossed on day 1. I put my Boost mobile sim on the S23U last year on day 1 as well. All fine with the counter 120 days, then stop service on the plan that I tossed the sim.

Does anyone know how to port out a number from Google Fi to an existing Tracfone line?

I tried over the phone and they messed it up by putting the existing carrier as T-mobile instead of Fi and were asking for a 9 digit account number and Fi account number is only 5 digits.

I want to port out my second Fi line before ordering this phone.
Thanks in advance
